1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms of Service apply to use of the SCS Homeschool website. By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to these terms and acknowledge the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not register or use an account.
2. Student and guardian eligibility
Students may use the service for lawful educational purposes. If a student cannot legally agree to these terms in their country, a parent or legal guardian must approve the registration and supervise the account. A guardian is responsible for ensuring that submitted student details are accurate and appropriate.
3. Accounts and passwords
- Use accurate information and keep it reasonably current.
- Keep the password confidential and use a password not used on another service.
- Do not share, sell or transfer an account.
- Notify SCS Homeschool promptly through the contact page if unauthorised access is suspected.
The master administrator controls official grade changes. Students cannot change their own grade level.
4. Acceptable use
You must not attempt to access another person’s account, bypass security controls, upload malicious or misleading files, disrupt the website, scrape personal records, misuse contact information, impersonate another person, or use the service for unlawful, abusive or commercial-spam activity.
5. Learning resources and external links
E-book listings may open resources hosted by another website. SCS Homeschool does not control every external site and is not responsible for its availability, privacy practices or later content. Users and guardians should review an external service before providing information to it.
6. Online tutorials
Sending a tutorial enquiry does not create an enrolment, employment, payment or service contract. Any paid tutorial arrangement, schedule, cancellation rule and fee must be confirmed separately by the authorised parties.
7. Intellectual property
The website design, school branding and original website content remain the property of their respective owner or licensor. A resource marked as free may be used only under the licence or permission stated for that resource. “Free” does not transfer ownership or permit unauthorised resale.
8. Availability and educational decisions
We aim to keep the service accurate and available, but maintenance, hosting failures or other events may interrupt access. Website materials support learning and do not replace professional educational, medical, legal or safeguarding advice. Families remain responsible for decisions about a learner’s education and local requirements.
9. Suspension or removal
SCS Homeschool may restrict or remove an account when reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or enforce these terms. Where appropriate, the account holder or guardian may contact us to ask for a review.
10. Responsibility and liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, SCS Homeschool is not responsible for indirect loss caused by unavailable external resources, user misuse, inaccurate information supplied by a user, or events outside reasonable control. Nothing in these terms excludes a responsibility that applicable law does not allow to be excluded.
11. Changes and contact
